This distinctive dark brown treacle is used most famously to give baked beans and gingerbread their bittersweet flavour. Produced from the 3rd boiling of cane sugar syrup during the refining process, the Molasses are in fact a byproduct, the remains after all the cane sugars sucrose has been crystalised. What you are left with is a sweet, nutrient rich substance that is extremely good for you. Our molasses is certified organic.
